MY FAVORITE HOTELS TO STAY AT IN CAPE TOWN!

I stayed in the classic mountain facing room, 10/10!!

Cape Town is HANDS DOWN one of, if not my FAVORITE city in the world! I went the end of January / beginning of February and the weather was incredible! It is summer in South Africa and I personally think it’s the best time to go because it’s after the rush of the holiday peak season. I stayed at The Marly Boutique Hotel & Spa

The Marly is right in Camps Bay, right across the street from the beach. Camps Bay is my FAV area to stay in!

I had a 5 star stay with The Marly. This was the first place I checked into after landing at the airport in the morning. I was exhausted, tired, and just really wanted a shower and a nap after traveling 24 hours. I arrived at the hotel before check in, and while my room wasn’t quite ready yet, the wonderful reception staff escorted me to the spa locker rooms and I was able to take a glorious shower and refresh in a private shower and bathroom. I appreciated this so much as I know other hotels would just make you wait until check in. This is why I loveeee staying with smaller boutique hotels!

The rooftop pool was a vibeeee!! I got comfy on one of the day beds, ordered sushi, snacks, and a refreshing glass of rose and proceeded to take a nap until check in! Note to self and everyone else….put on sunscreen and reapply!! Rookie mistake but I ended up getting sunburnt. The South African sun is STRONGGG.

When it came to dinner, I asked the reception where they would recommend going, with a good sunset view for sundowners. Even though I didn’t have a reservation, the lovely staff escorted me to one of the partner restaurants, got me the best seat in the house so I could experience an amazing first night in Cape Town. I was on a solo trip so as a female solo traveler I appreciated this SO SO much!

The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa

The second hotel I stayed at and highly recommend was The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa. This hotel is right on the ocean, flanked by the majestic Twelve Apostles Mountain range and Table Mountain National Park. Everything about my stay at The Twelve Apostles was 5 stars.
